AI Sidebar Chat runs in your browser. It does not operate its own backend servers and does not sell your data.

Data we access

Web mode

Official AI websites load in a sidebar. You use your own accounts. Context is copied on your device (clipboard). The extension author does not receive your chats.

API mode (optional)

API requests go directly from your browser to the provider you configure. Keys stay in extension storage on your device.

What we do not do

No analytics or ad trackers built into the extension
No sale of personal data
No extension-owned user accounts

Third parties

AI providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.) have their own privacy policies for conversations on their platforms.

Deletion

Uninstall the extension or clear its data in browser extension settings.
